BHA Awards And Cacique Awards
Members are invited each September to submit applications annually for: Hotelier of the Year; Manager of the Year; Chef of the Year; Employee of the Year; Supervisor of the Year; and Sales Executive of the Year. A distinguished panel makes the finalist selections list which is announced at the Annual General Meeting in December. The winners are announced at the annual Cacique Awards program in January.
Members are encouraged to participate in various national, regional and international competitions. BHA coordinates and supports The Bahamas' participation in the regional Taste of the Caribbean competition conducted at the Caribbean Hotel Association's annual CHIC conference in June.
