Bahamas Hotel & Tourism Association

Who We Are

The tourism industry plays a most important role in the Bahamian economy and the hotel sector makes a major contribution in this effort. The Bahamas Hotel Association (BHA) represents the interests of the country's leading hotels and a large allied membership of companies that support the industry.

We have created this Web site to inform the public and prospective members about the BHA and to enhance the organisation by taking advantage of the many community features of the Internet.

About Tru Tru Bahamas Festival

The Tru Tru Bahamian Festival will take place on the 7th of November 2015 at the historic 1789 Buena Vista Estate home to John Watling's Distillery, located in Downtown Nassau, less than a mile walking distance from the cruise ship port.

Free transportation to and from the hotels will be provided to hotel guests at participating hotels.

The Tru-Tru Festival will be a celebration of Bahamian Culture, Heritage, Traditions, Artistic and Culinary Flair and indigenous Flora and Fauna.

Throughout the day, the Festival will showcase our wondrous family islands and that which makes each island individually unique; our Bahamian traditions, handicrafts, food and drink; our beautiful natural environment and our celebrations of song and dance.
