BHA Golf TournamentThe BHA will be hosting its 12th Annual Golf Tournament on Sunday, June 13th at the Cable Beach Golf Course.

Thanks to the great support of our sponsors, members and friends, over the past six (6) years The Bahamas Hotel Association (BHA) has been able to award 32 tourism-related scholarships valued in excess of $100,000 to Bahamian Students.  We anticipate awarding 6-8 scholarships by June of this year.

5% Stopover Growth For Nassau

NASSAU/Paradise Island and Grand Bahama saw a 5 per cent increase in stopover visitor arrivals year-over-year based on preliminary data, the Minister of Tourism and Aviation said yesterday, with March showing a 10-13 per cent increase for both destinations.

Investor To Save South Ocean

The $867 million South Ocean redevelopment's new managing partner yesterday pledged to "end the impasse in this project" for the benefit of the Bahamian people, after an International Arbitration Tribunal ruling blasted its predecessor for leaving the development in a "shambles", ordering it to repay almost $3 million.
