Private Sector Players Anticipate New COB Hospitality Partnership



Albany, Baker’s Bay, Eleuthera One and other private sector players are among those entities that have already indicated an intention to take advantage of the new partnership between the Culinary and Hospitality Management Institute (CHMI) at The College of The Bahamas (COB) and Kendall College and Laureate International Universities.

About Tru Tru Bahamas Festival


The Tru Tru Bahamian Festival will take place on the 7th of November 2015 at the historic 1789 Buena Vista Estate home to John Watling's Distillery, located in Downtown Nassau, less than a mile walking distance from the cruise ship port.

Free transportation to and from the hotels will be provided to hotel guests at participating hotels.

The Tru-Tru Festival will be a celebration of Bahamian Culture, Heritage, Traditions, Artistic and Culinary Flair and indigenous Flora and Fauna.

Throughout the day, the Festival will showcase our wondrous family islands and that which makes each island individually unique; our Bahamian traditions, handicrafts, food and drink; our beautiful natural environment and our celebrations of song and dance.

Adam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, Sandals Resorts International, Named 'Caribbean Hotelier Of The Year'












The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association (CHTA) presented the "Caribbean Hotelier of the Year" award to Adam Stewart, Chief Executive Officer, Sandals Resorts International, during the Caribbean Hospitality Industry Exchange Forum (CHIEF), which took place Oct. 2 - 4, 2015 at El Conquistador Resort, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Puerto Rico.
