Inaugural Session of Revans University

The Bahamas Hotel Associations is partnering with Revans University, with the support of International Management Centre Association Socrates (IMCA) to launch the Professional Master of Management (M.Mgmt) in Hospitality & Tourism.  This is being done in an effort to assist with the continuous development of seasoned hotel owners and operators as well as senior/experienced management executives in our Hospitality & Tourism Industry.
 
This program has been successfully launched by the Jamaica Hotel & Tourism Association and the St. Lucia Hotel and Tourism Association.  It has also now been launched by the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association.  Jamaica is actually in its eighth successful year of running this program and have some 80+ graduates of the programs...

· Sam James, Vice President, SuperClub Breezes

· Carolle Guntley, Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Jamaica and a host of hotel owners and senior managers across the Jamaica Hotel & Tourism Industry

This is the first group of students to challenge this new Professional Master of Management in Hospitality and Tourism consists of the brightest minds in the industry.  The Bahamas Hotel Association takes a holistic approach to serving its members and in so doing, we want to ensure that as we move out of this recession, our members are equip to compete and meet the demands of the industry globally.
 
Mr. Robert 'Sandy' Sands, President of The Bahamas Hotel Association, Mr. Frank Comito, Executive Vice President of The Bahamas Hotel Association and Dr. Tony Hall, Coordinator for Jamaica will be in attendance
 
The Bahamas Hotel Association invites you to the opening session to meet the candidates and possibly speak with the President about this new venture.
